The Sacred Stone
How was it created
Two men were asked by the king to abridge all the records that were recorded in the storehouse of Nob. These two men called upon God, and God sent two angels to help to abridge these things. When the night was over, the abridgement was finished. This abridgement was what the world sees as the Hieroglyphic portion of the Rosetta Stone.
Later another two men came and found this stone and they added their story to this stone for there was room at the bottom of the stone, thus they added their stories in their own given language, which was the same.
Today men and science believes that these three are the same, when really only the bottom two portions are the same story. Today, many men of science use this stone as a way to understand and translate Hieroglyphics, but because of their misjudgments in these things, they are not correctly translating these things. It is because of this stone that they have determined that the Translation given by Joseph Smith Jr. concerning the Pearl of Great price is determined to be incorrect, yet it is science and men who have made the error.
This stone is only half there, thus the top half of the stone is broken off and is as big as the bottom half. There are over two thousand records recorded on this stone. Below here is only a portion of them.
Chapter 8
- Now I Phileastes do also make an account of the vision that I had whilst I was in my youth, even a child of the age of ten years.
- And I was working one morning upon the lettering lesson that I was given in the house of my father when I came upon an old scroll containing an ancient language.
- And as I began to copy the scroll (as it was nearly desolate), I did see the characters did resemble that of both the ancient tongue of the desert people and the new tongue of the river people and the tomb writings of the Bethesda.
- And after this began, I became dizzy, and I cried out, Oh God, please help me, and before my body hit the floor, I was seized upon by an unseen power, yet it felt as though there were hands holding me.
- And I was carried up unto a high mountain and did see, first a great multitude of people who were arrayed before me in an attitude of praise and honor, even that they did pay homage unto me and made obeisance unto me.
- And I did shrink from this honor and was about to turn and leave when there appeared two angels standing above me and oft to my right in the air.
- And their countenances were magnificent and the one on the left pointed unto the one on the right with his right hand and the one on the right said, Phileastes, son of king Phinemon, before you stands your posterity if you hearken unto these words, and then the angel gestured unto the other who said, lay not thy hand upon the evil thing nor anything like unto it, but seek out your God and lay hold upon his word, even at the cost of your own life.
- And the other angel said, seek ye out the records of the prophets and bring them into the granary which is atop the hill of Nod and there compile all these records that they may be preserved, even shall ye go to great lengths to acquire them.
- Nevertheless, even if you should spend all that you have, thus sayeth the Lord God, I will give you an hundred fold in riches and posterity, therefore this charge do I give to you, as I have been directed this day.
- And they nodded one to another and left.
- And I found myself lying upon the cold stone of my bedchamber.
- And I was drenched head to foot, even that all my clothes were wet.
- And I remembered that I had been under water and there was a man above me, yet I cannot recall all that he said, but he did lift me from the water.
- And as this thought came into my mind, I again lost strength, but this time I reached out for my bed, when I awoke, I was dry and also in different apparel.
- And there was a pile of clay tablets at the foot of my bed.
- These were the start of the records that I first stored in the granary of Nod and later moved to protect them.
- Now I learned much from this vision and did know that my God had anointed me for this purpose.
- And therefore all my days did I earnestly seek out from the far reaches of the known world the records of the holy ones of God, some wrote on clay, others on stone, some on sticks, some on metal, some on parchment, some on skins and various other types.
- One I wish to speak on in particular, for it was an oral record of the seer of Visuvias Encantiera who did have a gift of fore sight and held the mouth of prophecy and this is his oral account.
- One fine day as I called upon the Lord, I was blessed with a gift and the tongue now a sword, I was given in my eyes of the sight of our God and was blessed on my feet to travel with the holy men of God.
- And I saw in the east a great wind and a storm that striped the people of their flesh, for they hearkened not to call on the Lord of heaven above.
- And they sought to do evil all day long, and the names that were fallen will be shortened and condensed, for the heads of the clans led with care all the people of there family in the manner that they dealt.
- And they lived and they walked and they did.
- Now the names of the clans that did evil all day long were Ebrachus, Cannt, Nod, also Bishon, Preth and Cess and their families and their friends and their kin.
- Now the good were but few, only Terek and his twin, even Morash and the brother of his wife, for they looked unto God and did fear him all day long, even more than they did their own life.
- And this was not the only verbal record, yet for the time will I abstain from giving the others, for there are matters of greater importance that I need to declare unto by my people and those of the last days who shall read this record.
- For there came a grievous plague among my people in the forty second year in the month of the ram.
- And there also arose a great stirring among the people of Mirakesh who did dwell to the east of my people.
- For they did possess the herbs that were used to treat my people and they were unwilling to part with them for the sake of some three hundred and fifteen year old dispute concerning the well of Kisabahan and the herdsman who strove there from their fathers fathers.
- And because of this great evil, they purported to inflict an even greater evil upon my people.
- For our father’s, father’s herdsman did deny their father’s, father’s herdsman access to the well, which was of some sufficient grief, it was one, one hundredth that they now have inflicted upon us in that my people would soon become extinct without these herbs.
- Therefore, I Phileastes did send forth an envoy of seventeen strong young men bearing some thirty thousand shekel weight in gold and many other fine things upon litters that were upon Shittum wood and tent clothe sewn from camel hair.
- And they did travel in the presence of my three closest advisors who were also sent to smooth the way that the herbs might be both harvested and transported unto our people.
- And this is their report of the journey both to and from as told by Anakics.
- And they did sally forth in groups of three and five with one man unfettered in their patrols even all of the young men who were sent to be with us and as we traveled to them even their came up a great wind, even one that was unnatural in its origin, for it did torment both the young men and the beasts of burden who were with us.
- Therefore as the spirit had prompted so I did kneel and halt our travel and did call upon God to send forth his holy angels to stop the force of the winds and there came many angels in the sight of the entire company of young men, even numbering in the thousands and thousands of thousands.
- And many come baring swords of fire and they fought like dragons against the darkness of the wind.
- And as I knelt and prayed, even so there came three unto me and did set their feet upon the ground and did command that I should arise and tarry with them to an exceedingly brilliant place that was had in the tops of the mountains.
- And the first spake unto me, behold the sons and daughters of God.
- And I did see that they were made up of every nation, kindred, tongue, people, race and creed, and that they were of one heart and one mind.
- And they did gather in groups of ten and fifty and an hundred and five hundred and an thousand and so on and so forth, even unto an thousand, thousand and many thousands.
- And they stood in a great valley arrayed in white and singing a new song and they were drawing neigh unto a place of great beauty within the valley, and the third angel knelt and did speak to the ground and it became gold at our feet and we did move upon the gold as light does upon the air and I beheld their a throne.
- And in the midst of the throne was one like unto the son of man and on either side of the throne were two great pillars as it were holding the sky and water flowed from them unto to trees which were strange to my sight, for they bore fruit of twelve different types.
- And there was fire surrounding the fruit and there was a great censer in the middle of the valley and there were many carrying vials of pure gold filled with different things.
- And the second angel said, look and my eyes were opened in that I did behold all things and I did shake at the wickedness of the children of men.
- And the first angel did touch my lips and I did cease to shake.
- And then I was taken again before the throne and there God himself blessed me and declared that I would prophesy by the voice of this record unto all nations, kindred’s, tongues and peoples to whom this record should go froth and many other things did my God tell me, yet that men’s faith might be tested, said he to me, seal thou these things up until I come again in glory to receive this my kingdom in its prepared fullness.
- And there appeared a cloud and in the cloud there was a bow (rainbow) set to shine out from it unto the valley floor and drawing neigh unto it were those arrayed in white that bore the seal of God upon their foreheads.
- And they were there taking of the light of the bow in golden cups and were sharing one with another the nectar of the Gods.
- And they did both drink and anoint one another as they sang.
- And there appeared a great wonder before my eyes as the first angel said come.
- And I did see worlds with out number there unto where the people in white did go and they did there minister unto the people of these worlds and thereby was God and his powers expanded a thousand, thousand, thousand times again, that no man may comprehend it save he be upon the throne.
- And now these things were both shone and spoken of to me by the hands of the angels who did gather to lift and support me in my journey.
- Then as my hand left the censor, I was again kneeling like before, save I had no strength, yet there was no wind, nor any evil among us, for the holy spirit of God did purge it from among us.
- Then as I attempted to rise there again appeared the three angels who laid their hands upon me and spoke many marvelous things unto me in the name of God, and they did seal me unto him and unto his will.
- And from that time unto the time this record is given unto men, even so I have not faltered in the charge given me by the voice and hand of my God, even at the foot of his thrown.
- And this is not all, for I beheld this same vision thrice before the night came.
- And thrice was I blessed by the three and by my God, and they did not vary in any aspect, save it were the third time in the which it was promised that we would receive of the herbs of necessity only at the destiny of our journey and there again fulfill the purposes of God in this thing that my people perish not, but be healed.
- And we did go forward from that time with great strength and the very powers of hell could not stop us, nor could they stay the hand from obtaining the herbs, nor could they impede in any way the counsel and direction of the king.
