I
Moroni the son of Mormon who was the keeper of these records at the end of our
people do at the command of the Lord seal up this record that it go not unto
the children of men, save they have faith among them to believe as the prophets
of old have believed, and this is only to come forth in the last days by the
hands of those who have been chosen unto this work by prophecy and by
tribulation.

And
that ye may know that this work is brought forth by the power of God, I ask you
as I have in other works to ask God, nevertheless, go before him with a sincere
heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ and under these circumstances
you shall have this knowledge by the power of the Holy Ghost, for by the Power
of the Holy Ghost, ye may know the truth of all things, and to those who ask in
faith, believing that they shall receive, even so as they ask, shall they
receive.

Therefore,
I exhort you with all diligence that you ask the Lord in the name of the Christ
if these things are not true, and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, having
real intent and faith in him, then shall you know, even as I know and now
testify that these things are true.
4
And
it came to pass as my father Mormon transferred the records into my care, that
he gave me this warning, that if by any negligence of mine, that the records
were to fall into any evil hands, that I would be called before God in the last
days and be judged according to the wickedness of my hands in this thing.
5
Now
these words I speak unto the gentiles and those who are of the linage of Israel
and of the house of David.
6
For
in the last days shall that which had happened through out the book that was
compiled by my father and our fore fathers on plates of gold, even had among
you as the book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ and that it was
brought forth by the gift and power of God, even so at this time are the sealed
portions again opened unto the eyes of men.
7
And
they are to be had among those who have faith in thy words, for as the
sanctified sons of God, ye are charged to not let them go out unto those who
have not faith to believe in thy words and the power of the Holy Ghost in that
they are members in good standing of the Church of the Firstborn and have come
into it with full knowledge of their God and his will in the last days.
8
And
by a godly walk and talk will you prove them to be in good standing, which
means that they will not only declare with their lips of the truthfulness of
these words, but they will walk in the path that demonstrates their words and
their intent.
9
Now
this warning I give unto all who read these words, or have them read unto you,
that you do not let them go forth unto anyone save that God himself shall
declare it unto you in your heart and in your mind.
10
And
by his voice command you to share these things, for they are sacred and are not
to be had of men, save they be called and chosen and anointed with my spirit,
saith the Lord.
11
For
this is my work and I have caused that my servants seal up the words here in
that they go not unto those who have not faith to believe in them and my spirit
that testifies of them.
1
And
it came to pass that my father Mormon while abridging this record was visited
by three heavenly beings who had the countenance of the Gods upon them.
2
And
they spake with one voice and they said that they were sent by God to declare
unto my father, Mormon that he should go through the record and seal up those
things which were given as commands and instructions unto the sons and
daughters of God who were named in the book of Mormon, even that book which was
under his hands at the time that they spoke these words.
3
And
my father having many angels minister to him daily did test and try the
heavenly beings that he might know if they did indeed come from God.
4
And
they did shake his hands as resurrected beings and did confirm with signs and
tokens their origin and nature.
5
And
the voice of God spake unto my father Mormon from heaven saying, Mormon my son,
these are the ruling angels from my presence and they are come to assist you in
sealing up these records.
6
And
they are Gabriel, and Michael and Raphael of the class of archangels and are
the highest order of my holy ones.
7
And
ye are to give heed unto their counsel and to give a copy of these sealed
records unto their hands, for my protection and the fulfillment of prophecy.
8
Therefore
be not afraid that you must die for my name in the service of your people.
9
For
I will cause that your people will not be utterly cut off through the seed of
thy son, Moroni.
10
For
he shall never taste of death but be lifted up by my holy ones unto my throne
and there in the place of the highest heavens be given power to overcome all
things that he raised up from mortality unto immortality and perfection like
unto the perfection that I and my son and the angels before you now enjoy and
this perfection will also come upon you as you are resurrected in the morning
of the first resurrection and are caught up in the clouds and are brought unto
my presence to go no more out save it be in my will and in my purposes as you
have been commanded here to fulfill.

Now
as you have abridged the records of the prophets of your forefathers and others
who have come unto the promised land, even so are you to abridge the accounts
of all of the sealed portion of this great work.
12
And
it shall bare this name, even the sealed book of Mormon and it shall go unto
those of great faith and your name shall be had further among the children of
men in good and evil tones.
13
And
be spoken of widely among them both in good and evil words, for thus saith the
Lord, my works shall go forth in the fulfillment of time by the gift and power
that give unto men of great faith.
14
And
the Church of my Last Days of which ye are is the Church of the Firstborn, for
even as I have blessed my Zion who are of the church of Enoch and of the
Firstborn, even so have I cursed the residue of my people, saith the Lord and
in the last days have I caused that it be formed again among men on earth to
fulfill the prophecy of Enoch in that his people would could down as the Zion
above unto the people on earth as the Zion below to fall upon each others necks
and weep over the wickedness of the world and dwell with there God forever.

And
now I give unto you these my servants to show unto you the why back to me and
unto the highest heavens.
16
And
now it came to pass that my son Moroni came in
unto the place of the records in the hill Shim and there said that the leaders
of my people desired to confer upon me full charge of their armies and to ask
if I would lead them against their enemies the Lamanites unto either their
utter destruction or their ultimate victory.
17
And
that they believed that they could be saved by me in leading them unto battle
and that as God was with me, even so would he guide me to lead them unto
victory.
18
Now
my heart did sink in that I knew that they had no desire to change nor to be of
any good, nor to follow their God, never the less the Lord my God did open up
my heart in that, I did have pity upon them in that I was humbled by God to
serve them even unto death.
19
And
then my whole soul was pained in that I saw the death of my people and their
utter extinction save it were my son Moroni and a few thousand of my people
that escaped.
20
And
this that those few thousand would soon be hunted down by the Lamanites and
forced to deny the Christ and serve them or die.
21
And
they did all deny the Christ or die save it be my son Moroni, and the three
disciples and four other prophets in distant quarters of the land.
22
And
I did fall down upon my knees and did lay my face in the dust and did cry
mightily for the welfare of my people, yet this prayer was vain in availed
nothing, save these few that were taken and changed before their God that they
taste not of death.

Now
I write concerning the prophecies of Lehi and Nephi who were the descendants of
Joseph and also of Abraham.
2
For
they have prophesied of many things.
3
And
this is my account of their prophecies as I was directed by the heads of Zion
and the angels of the highest to write.
4
As
Lehi descended out of the boat that had carried them unto the promised land, he
fell unto the ground and was caught up unto the place of God, even that he went
unto the throne and these are his words of what he had seen.
5
And
their I stood at the base of tall mountain and upon its top was a city
completely made of precious stones like nothing of this world could ever make
so great of thing.
6
And
I saw that it had four sides equal in length and three gates upon each side and
each gate was guarded by two men who were given as the Cherubim of heaven, even
swords of fire to guard the way through them.
7
And
that each gate was for each of the tribes of Israel and that the blood of
Israel be allowed to pass and that if a person was not of the blood of Israel,
that their blood be changed, that it be of the same.
8
And
I saw the tree of life save it were on both sides of the throne.
9
And
then I beheld my God upon the throne.
10
And
as I looked into his eyes which were as fire, I did see the trees of life and I
did see two, one in each eye, that should come in the fulfillment of time unto
the place of my birth.
11
And
they did burn the wicked as stubble like unto the prophecies of Isaiah and I
did behold a fountain of water that came out from the throne and it fed the two
trees of life which were like unto olive trees that bore the twelve manner of
fruit, even as the prophecies of Iddo the seer had foretold.
12
And
I did see the streets were paved in gold and the power of God in fullness was
given to each soul that was in the city and they had all things common among
them, even the throne of God.
13
And
they did worship the Most High God with great reverence and humility, but also
with much zeal.
14
And
there came before my eyes the evil of the world and it was as a beast that had
formed up out from the sea and the evil things in men’s hearts.
15
And
there came with this beast seven heads, which are seven nations and ten horns,
which are ten men who are the leaders in these nations.
16
And
the one head that was the darkest was given power over all seven.
17
And
he directed the power of the beast according to demonic arts and the fulfilling
of the desires of the evil lord of this earth, even the son of morning star who
was cast out from heaven unto this earth.
18
And
the head of the beast was called Anon and was of the linage of Cain and was
sealed unto the evil one by his own hand and did lead the nations of the earth
which had rendered their power unto him to do all manner of evil unto their
people.
19
Even
that it was formed in the promised land, from within the eagles breast, and was
likened unto the power of all nations in its name and was a means to deceive
with words of peace the nations of the earth.
20
And
all the nations of the earth who would not join with her were put under command
by the armies that she governed from the nations that did submit to her rule.
21
And
I saw great technologies in the earth and on the earth and above the earth,
that men could view man as God could, save only on the outward appearance and
that this was the design of darkness.
22
And
I did see the people of Zion that they were brought forth and chosen up by the
hands of the heads of Zion and their direction, even from the mother of harlots,
that would encompass the whole earth under the rule of the beast.
23
And
I saw a man raised up as a lamb that grew to two horns of evil upon his head
and spake as the devil and was given power over the beast and over all people
who were not sealed up unto the Lamb.
24
And
he was more dark then the head of the beast, for he did by the power of
darkness call down fire from heaven in the sight of all those who did worship
the beast and the head thereof.
25
And
they did call him a god among men and they did follow his words which did go
against God and his ways, for he did deny the existence of God and said that
men are gods of themselves and are the true source of power and that he did
deny Christ and the Holy Ones of Israel who were in the last days, even the heads
of Zion.
26
And
he did gain a knowledge of the Holy Ghost and did willfully slay innocent
blood.
27
And
did deny the truth with all of his might and what so ever thing he did touch
was corrupt, save that God himself did touch them as well, that they be sealed
unto him, yet power was given unto him to blaspheme against God, for three and
one half years and he did over come all who were not of God.
28
And
he did bind the earth and did much harm to her and did force all in the name of
peace unto slavery and servitude and he was like Lucifer was in heaven, even
the father of all lies.
29
And
there appeared before me a great storm in the heavens which was the wrath of
God and after the two prophets, even the ones that I saw in the eyes of God,
testified of the truth and with power displayed the wrath of God among the
children of men, laid down their life as the final rush of assault came from
the adversary and those he controlled, did appear this storm and it was as
lightning save it covered the whole earth, even as the fire of the Lord and it
did make the rough places high and did smooth out them all, that the high road
was all on the face of the earth and it was as a sea of glass and was purified
and made white and clean and was then the dwelling place of our God.
30
And
we did continually bask in the newness that was before us and the light was the
most beautiful light that there was to be had among the children of men.
31
And
then there came before our eyes a seen of such power and greatness that words
escape its measure, never the less we did see all the creations of God
displayed in their fullest measure.
32
And
the angel of the highest did say, that when we recorded this vision, that we
should also record this promise that who so ever would read this record and ask
in perfect faith, believing with the power of all knowledge and trusting in the
Most High God unto the very depths of their souls, that they would then be
shown the same things that we were shown, but that they ask not to consume it
upon their lusts, but to glorify God and his will.

And
I Lehi the descendant of Nephi the son of Lehi was praying over my eldest son
Coriantumr who was struggling between good and evil and had fallen from his
calling as a teacher of the gospel in the land just north of Zarahemla.
2
And
was caught up with his friends in a snare of evil doing, for they were want to
go out among the people in the city of Zarahemla and caused havoc and confusion
by removing and replacing different items from one vendor to another and this
with out permission.
3
And
it caused such a stir among those who were honestly seeking for a daily
maintenance of their life that it came up unto my ears as the presiding priest
of the people in that area and my heart was filled with sorrow.
4
And
I went and inquired of the Lord concerning what to do about my son and his
friends.
5
And
the Lord said, go and counsel with thy wife and thy friend Nephi and his wife
and together I shall cause that the way to bring your son and his daughter and
their friends unto repentance will make itself apparent in your conversation.
6 Never the less, after word,
come with the solution unto me saith the Lord and I will cause the Holy Ghost to bare witness of the truthfulness of these
words.
7 And know this
that no matter what solution that you have arrived at, it shall not cause any
harm unto them that remain or unto any soul and all shall be blessed by these
things.
8
And I got up from my place of prayer and went unto my wife and Nephi and his wife
and did tell them what the Lord had told me concerning our children.
9
And
Nephi did inquire of the Lord and received the same.
10
And
it came to pass that when we had conversed for some time, the topic of
repentance by the motivation of fear was deeply impressed upon us and we
decided to take this unto the Lord.
11
And
it came to pass that Nephi and I did go unto the place of the temple which was
in Zarahemla and did there inquire of the Lord on this thing.
12
And
he said, that we should, first join ourselves by a special ordinance, even that
we should wash one another’s feet in the name of the Lord and that we should
fast for three weeks time every other day to obtain the fire of the Lord that
would both purify our souls and quicken our spirits to be able to do what the
Lord would have us do.
13
And
as we began this journey to save our children from darkness, we did wash our
feet one then the other in the following manner.
14
I
Lehi having authority from almighty God do wash your feet that you may be clean
from the blood and sins of this generation and that you maybe joined by this
covenant of eternal brother hood that shall never be broken nor compromised
save it be that you sin in the name of the Father Eloi and the name of the Son
Elohim and the name of the Holy Ghost Eloheim and in the name of our savior,
even Jesus Christ, amen.

And
now I Ammaron do seal up a portion of the words that the Lord did speak unto me
at the valley of Kamish by the hill called Shim.
2
And
he spake of many things concerning the last days and concerning my people who would
rise from the ashes of their destruction as a voice from the dust declaring
truth in purity.
3
And
the Lord my God did show me a prophet that he was to raise up in the last days
of his blinking and that his name was to be Joseph, even after Joseph of old
and he was to bring forth the first record of the voice of my people.
4
And
that in the very end of the last days that the Lord would raise up as Isaiah
testified, even two witnesses unto truths and that they were to be the arch
angels of heaven, even the finest sons of the highest to come and witness as
his eyes the destruction of the descendants of his creation and these things
are to come forward through there voice and power unto the chosen souls of the
children of men who have become the children of God.

And
he said that I would come to meet them at my throne, for they would carry me
unto it in the time of the greatest trial of my life and just before the moment
of loosing it in the battles ahead and I did go from the place of our meeting
unto the counsels of the war that were being had near unto the hill Shim by the
leaders of the Nephites.
6
And
it came to pass that I did go from the place of the leaders to take command of
my ten thousand troops to lead them against the Lamanites in battle.
7
For
they had come out in open perversion and united themselves with the robbers
that had resurrected the evil of Gadianton and his oaths and covenants.
8
And
there came as we camped in the first night an envoy from the king of the
Lamanites asking to reveal unto him the names of those who had been called as
the sons of God by the prophet of the church and that he would hunt them out
and remove their life.
9
And
he would spare ours in exchange and come no more to battle against us.
10
And
it came to pass that I Ammaron did go and inquire of the Lord as to his will in
this thing and the Lord said that what I did with the names of the Sons of God,
even so would he do with my name and the enemies who fought against him.
11
So
I sent word unto the kings envoy that he be not given the names ever and that I
would hold them in the thoughts of my heart and take them unto God himself at
the time I went to see him at his throne.
12
And
then the king sent back unto me another envoy stating again the same and the
anger of the Lord came upon me and I did speak by the power of the Holy Ghost
saying lift up thy heart unto God and ask of him the names of his sons and if
he gives them unto you then, you may do with them as you desire, but if he
gives them not, so shall you have life no more, that the words of this prophecy
might be fulfilled and that I might go to meet him, even upon this night.
13
And
it came to pass that the Lamanites did come upon us with their swords and
scimitars and staffs and other weapons of war to visit destruction upon our
souls.
14
And
the Lord our almighty God did smite them with just enough strength to press
upon me and my guards and to gain power in the flesh over my fight and did slay
my flesh with many blows that I did fall to the earth expecting to die, when
all of sudden I found myself being blessed by the hands of the two angels who
were sent to take me to the throne and the blows of the weapons of the
Lamanites could not pierce them or harm them, nor could they harm me any more.
15
And
we did go by means of a conduit of life, even in the voice of the Lord, they
did rend the veil into eternity and we did enter through and we were taken up
unto the tops of an exceedingly high mountain to a great city that’s been
foretold of through the ages as the place of the throne of God.
16
And
then as we arrived and my feet stood upon the street of gold, even pure gold
that has been refined by the spirit of God and the fire of his wrath and as our
feet touched the gold, power flew into my heart and my veins were filled with
the spirit and I did move like lightning unto the throne, even in the blink of
an eye and I did see before me the grandest sight that men’s eyes could ever
behold.
17
I
saw the God of our fathers lay his hands upon the heads of the angels who bore
me to his throne and then had them sit upon his throne and take their place
with him as Gods themselves.
18
And
he spake unto me saying, my son Ammaron come near unto the throne and ask of me
what you desire and it shall be granted, for only the pure desires of light may
exist in this place.
19
And
my heart did seek for that which tongue in good conscience never should speak.
20
And
yet my tongue did loose itself in the presence of my God and his holy sons and
did speak that I might to have the same gifts given to me as given to them.
21
And
he spake unto them saying, behold thy brother is come home, bring him in and
they did lay their hands upon my head and the one upon the right hand of God
did speak saying that I was to be given the throne of God to sit in and all the
powers of the same and these were eternal that no man nor those of a lesser
state or greater state could take them from me, but by my power of faith could
I keep them sure and never loose them.
22
And
it came to pass that when I opened my eyes at the end of these words I did see
that the two angels, even the sons of God did become the trees of life in which
there bore twelve manners of fruit and it was white beyond all that was white
and pure beyond all that was pure and was most precious to behold.
23
And
I beheld that from the throne upon which I then sat there came out a river of
pure water, even the waters of life unto the two trees that then became pillars
to hold the heavens heights above and the depths below that the place of God
might have peace and be separate from the place of those not of him.
24
And
their came a lamb before me having seven eyes and it was pure and having two
horns it did lay down its life upon an alter of the world and it was raised up
unto the highest height of the heavens to become even the God before me which
at this time did sit also with me in his throne, for we did sit together one
with another and bask in the Love and his glory.
25
And
his glory did come upon me and did lift my burden soul from the depths of hell
unto the light in the highest height of heaven.
26
And
the angel upon his left was also given glory and his glory did come upon me and
the Father of heaven and earth did replace my countenance with his countenance
that in my face I did see his and in my eyes I did reflect the two who bore me to
him, and this vision he told me was to be sealed up until the time of the
prophecy of the seventh angel which is the seventh eye in the lamb of God and
that it should come forth in this time and by his power and through the voice
of the two who bore me to him, and I make a end of this vision and hope that
these words lift up the sons of God unto his place and his throne, that they
might receive the same, amen.

And
it came to pass that I Ammaron was caught up in the spirit and taken unto the throne
of God and did see through the gates of the eastern wall of the city of God
three tribes and to the north, three more and to the west the same and the
south had three also.
2
And
there were twelve in all, and each one of these gates was controlled by a
governing apostle and the apostle had each a assistant who was also a member of
a group called a quorum of twelve.
3
And
I saw my family outside the wall and they were not able to enter.
4
And
I did rise up from before the throne with my hands cupping the living waters.
5
And
I raise my right hand to the square and did ask the gate be parted from with
in.
6
And
the keepers of the gates did say with one voice, thou shalt enter unto my
family, and they came in unto the city of God.
7
And
there came another angel unto me by the gate and this was the first angel that
I had seen and he did say unto me that he would teach my family all things of
truth, that they too might be brought before the throne of God.
8
And
he did beckon unto another angel to assist him, and they did come from the
throne unto the place where my family was.
9
And
as there feet touched the gold in the streets, they did move at a blink of an
eye so that they instantly returned unto us.
10
And
we were assigned a place among the city and there came as the angels taught us
a man who’s countenance was like lightning, and he said that he was a
descendant of mine upon the earth and that he would be sent forth in the earth
and on the earth to gather the tribes of Israel from the four quarters of the
earth and that he was acting under the direction of Peter, James, and John and
that in due time I too would be called to this purpose.

And
he said that his name was Jasper and that he was called to go through out time
and that Peter, James, and John did report unto the governing ones, even the
two angels that did teach me and my family.
12
And
it came to pass that my children grew to be adults and did seek on their own a
family and for this they were instructed to leave the city and to search out
and prepare companions for them to dwell with in the city.
13
And
it came to pass that by the same manner that I opened the gates from with in,
so did my children and they were allowed to leave for a season and to go forth
from the place of eternity through out time to gather those who would come unto
the city of God and reside there as their spouses.
14
And
it came to pass that they did return with their arms laden with souls and there
were many.
15
And
as they came, my joy was increased and I saw many in the city doing the same things,
and my heart was filled with inexpressible joy.
16
And
our light was increased, even with each new soul that did come unto the city of
God and a place was prepared for each of them that they might know by their
goodness and the love of the Father through the Son, that they have a place
prepared for them in the place where God dwells.
17
And
it came to pass that I beheld a book of which all of the names of those who
were in the city of God were written.
18
And
that as they were gathered from time and nation, kindred, and people, they were
brought unto the book in the course of time at the order of God to behold their
name as it was written by the hand of God in the book.
19
And
it came to pass that some who were brought before the throne and judged of
their works were granted their own worlds with which to govern and see grow.
20
Also
they were privileged to wield all of the powers of God in these things and
these worlds were then a source of increase unto all who were of the city of
God.
21
Now
it came to pass that it was my time to come before the throne and receive my
inheritance from the Lord my God.
22
And
there came the two angels who had first brought me unto God and they are the
governing ones of all of the worlds that are of the Lord and these two did
fashion before me the place of my inheritance.
23
And
then with me did help me to fill it with light, order, love, and peace, and did
join it by sealing unto the world in which the city of God was formed.
24
And
it came to pass that these visions and great blessings were brought unto us
often as we did humble ourselves in the presence of God.
25
And
thus it is, amen.

And
it came to pass that I Ammaron was again in the spirit in power and this just
before the battle that was before me and the Lord appeared unto me in a grove
of trees just out side of the guards of our camp, and their sight, for I had
petitioned greatly to know him a man in the flesh, face to face and to know my
fate concerning the upcoming battle
2
And
these are the words he spake saying, Ammaron my son. I have come to speak unto
you the words of prophecy that your father spake upon the bed of his death that
his son would be swept away and that his flesh would be laid to rot above the
soil of the earth and that he would be heaped up with the wicked of the earth
who were steeped in evil and darkness and yet would his place be found at my
right hand.

Therefore
I have come to invite you to come unto me at the end of this conflict and your
strength shall be as Sampson and your skill as the finest of my cherubim.
4
And
you shall not fall until the appointed time, and that final stroke shall come
by one who should be your friend, yet his heart is filled with evil and his
soul with darkness.
5
And
I am Jesus Christ that have had faith unto salvation in, and I have overcome
the world and have come to gather you up unto my fold, therefore come unto me
in the hour appointed and rest in my kingdom.
6
And
then he departed and strength surged into my body and I felt the skill of
thousand years of training in the sword.
7
And
I did go unto the field of battle and did lead those poor unfortunate souls to
their demise at the hands of the Lamanites and did find that all who came
against me did fall before me and that their blades would shatter as I struck
them with my own.
8
And
I found that I could see that would soon over run my men and so, I retreated
and was wounded by three shafts and had lost much blood, but I did go unto the
place of the records and complete these words.
9
And
the first of my captains, even Adonijah the son of Moron did speak to me at the
mouth of the cave.
10
And
I suppose that he will betray me and lay me to rest and heap me upon the earth
and it came to pass that Ammaron was indeed betrayed by the hand of his closest
comrade, even Adonijah the son of Moron and was laid up unto his God.

And
I finish the record of this thing, amen.

And
I Ammaron do write a few words to exhort those who have the sealed words of my
testimony come into their hands.
2
And
I write these things that they might come forth when the faith of men is
sufficient to behold all things, even by the power of God.
3
And
I would first speak concerning the principal of faith, for with out it there
are no manifestations of the spirit, for God works by Faith and his powers are
administered unto the children of men.
4
And
the children of God by faith and as faith is not a perfect knowledge of things,
yet it is hope for things which are true and belief enough in that hope to
follow that guide unto fruit.
5
And
by faith the worlds were formed and by faith was death overcome.
6
And
all things are before me as I am in the spirit of the almighty God.
7
And
now if a man have faith he may behold all things in and of Jesus Christ, for in
him is all things of God and of goodness.
8
And
there is nothing that is from God save it is in Jesus Christ, therefore our
faith must be in him, for I have seen him and many of the holy prophets, even
those of the last days, and those of the ancient days.
9
And
I see before me as the heavens open two concourses of angels, the one on my
left are filled with light and the ones on my right are not and then in the
center amid the clouds I do see my God arrayed in fine light for a covering.
10
And
he has robes of pure white and a sash of scarlet, even redder then the blood of
man.

And
the good are upon his right hand and he is beckoning unto me to come unto his
right hand and to take my place in those who love him.
12
And
I see on his left hand the fires of all that is evil consuming one another, yet
where I stand, our garments are getting whiter and the light is beyond compare.
13
And
there are flames that are around us but do not hurt us, nor can they hurt us.
14
And
now I see the world and it is like a ball or a piece of fruit, yet by the power
of God are all held upon the surface.
15
And
I see that it is covered in fire and that the mountains are laid low and the
valleys are lifted up.
16
And
the rivers and streams are gone from this place and before me there is a smooth
sea of crystal that shimmers like a gem.
17
And
I see a great light and am again taken before the throne of God and I taste of
the waters of life and they are sweet and do come out from beneath the throne.
18
And
there is no hate nor anger, but Love abounds and the spirit of life and the
light of Christ is indeed the power of this place.
19
And
all who are here have no poor and no one is above another and all are partakers
of the gift of God and have overcome the world and are set down in the throne
of God and made equal with him through their faith and obedience and the power
and grace of God himself.
20
And
I see the heavens opened from this place and that worlds were set in the dark
of the sky by the hands of those who were upon the throne and I did see that
they all reckoned according to the earth and its movement.
21
And
I did see that it became as a governing one unto the rest, and they were
beautiful.
22
And
I did see stars form and did see them ordered in like manner, and I did see the
souls of those who had come unto their God were then taken by the power of God
through out these creations.
23
And
they did gather spirit into souls and did place them upon these earths.
24
And
my mind was opened and my heart was full and I did see things that are not
lawful for man to utter, but the God of heaven did say unto me that those who read
these words and have faith to see, shall see them.
25
And
they shall taste of his Love, even as I have.
26
And
I speak unto those who are to come unto the throne that they remove all
uncleanness from them, and cease to do evil, but do good continually and
hearken unto the voice of the Holy Ghost who is their guide back unto the
Father and the place of the throne.
27
And
there all happiness that can be received shall be received, but before their
reward comes a trial of faith, even unto the utter limits of the imagination,
for their shall be in the city of God which is the place of the throne of God
those kernels of wheat that have been threshed by the hand of God that their be
no chaff among them, that the bread of Christ be pure and holy and have no
bitterness in it.

And
I exhort you who read these words to exercise faith like I have exercised faith
or like Moses who did part the sea by the faith and word of God and walk
through on dry land.
29
And
these words are the pinnacle of my mountain top and the height of my heavens,
even the greatest testimony I have to bare, therefore hold by faith unto Christ
and listen unto the Holy Ghost and come back home unto the Father and partake
in life with us.

These
are the words of Nephi that was in the city of Zarahemla, that was called by
Jesus Christ to bring about his will after he appeared unto the faithful
children who were in the promise land.

I
Nephi do put to pen the message of our God as he came unto us after the signs
of his death and the darkness of desolation.
3
And
thus saith the Lord unto ye who are called before me to lead my sheep upon this
land, I am sent from the Father unto you that I might form my church among you,
that you might become of one fold and that it might be fulfilled unto your
brethren who are in the land of Jerusalem.
4
And
other sheep I have which are not of this fold, did I speak unto them, but
because of their faith in me was not great enough, that is all that I could
speak unto them concerning you.
5
And
now I say unto you who are chosen by me, that ye are called to be apostles that
bare my name and witness unto the people both in testimony and in works, that
ye may show unto them the path back unto me and the Father, that through your
words and works you shall bring many souls unto us to dwell with us in Zion.
6
And
ye shall speak words of comfort unto those who are need of comfort, which at
this time are great upon the face of the land, and I give you power over
serpents that they have no hold upon your flesh to hurt you, nor any poison,
nor any disease may inflict your flesh and I shall loose your tongues upon the
morrow that ye may speak these words, the words of eternal life unto the
multitude who shall gather unto the place of the temple to hear my words.

And
they shall receive them from your lips and the power of my spirit shall carry
them unto their hearts.
8
Brethren,
when ye teach the people, ye must teach the truth by the power of the Holy
Ghost and the Holy Ghost will carry it unto the hearts of all who hear the
words.
9
And
in their hearts he shall cause a change to come over them, that they seek no
more evil, but look unto me, even the Son of the highest.
10
And
the Father and I shall cause them to in the power of the Holy Ghost be born of
us and come in and sup with us that they may have eternal life.
11
For
I do nothing save the Father hath done it before me and I am the Father of this
earth and this heaven.
12
And
have been made clean and pure by the virtue of the blood of Jesus Christ who
was in the flesh, the son of God perfect.
13
Therefore
I command you in all diligence to be ye perfect even as I or your Father is
perfect and seek no more for the vein things of the world.
14
And
take up your cross and come follow me, for I am the way, the truth, and the
life.
15
And
in me is all that is good, good and all that is good will acknowledge that I
Jesus Christ am the Son of God and by the power of the Holy Ghost will they
receive a record of me and I testify that the Holy Ghost and the Father and I
are one and that we have called you to bring souls and to lead this people.
16
And
now I shall unfold a few mysteries of my kingdom and power unto you, that you
might be even like we are, for by the same power and in the same way have we
overcome as you are now to overcome and there are some here who shall never
taste of death, but shall gather my sheep eternally.
17
And
I the Lord God do call Nephi to lead this people and he is a descendant of
Joseph.
18
And
Nephi ye are to stand at the head and lead these your brethren back unto me.
19
And
to lead the people back unto heaven.
20
Now
view the place of our throne and see our glory, and the power of his majesty
came upon us, that as our eyes met with God’s eyes, our whole body became
filled with light.
21
And
we were taken up unto the throne of God which was atop a high mountain.
22
And
we were there blessed by our God through his eyes and they came from the place
of the throne to bring us his power and keys.
23
And
the angels of heaven did give us the signs and the tokens and the sacred key
words that would bring us back unto the throne.
24
And
we were given crowns and honor and our increase was great.
25
And
our lives were not our own, but our God’s.
26
And
it was his will that we be called and chosen to sit upon his throne with him
and to come nigh back to the place of the Father.
27
And
God said that we should look over Zion and that we should do that which his
eyes would give us to do.
28
And
these two angels, whose brightness was as great as the sun, did speak unto us
that we should look over Zion and see her ways and learn to teach the people of
our lands of these same ways.
29
And
the power over the elements was given into our hands and we were ordained as
high priests in Zion.
30
And
we were shown many things that are so sacred and are held in such high regard,
that we dare not place them in this record save the Lord command us.
31
And
it came to pass that the Lord did command us to write these things in this
record and seal them up unto the time of Zion.
32
And
it came to pass that I Nephi did take my brother whom I had raised from the
dead unto the place of the records and upon plates of gold, we did record the
sacred things of God.
33
For
we were ordained as high priests by the candlesticks of the Lord who are also
the Holy Ghost in the flesh and even Adam the Father of all flesh.
34
And
these two are to bring about the fullness of the restoration of all things upon
the earth.
35
And
these are the governing ones that stand under Christ to judge the earth and all
of the souls upon her.
36
And
we were given the first sign and token of the lesser priesthood after we had
been washed and anointed and clothed in garments of perfection that had power
over the adversary to keep him from our souls.
37
And
this first sign was to raise the right arm to the square and the first token
was to place the first joint of the thumb over the first knuckle of the right
hand as right hands were grasped.
38
And
this would give power to pass the guardians of the outer kingdom from the place
of darkness unto the kingdom of light and its glory was like unto the stars of
heaven.
39
And
the Holy Ghost did speak unto me and said, Nephi this token is given unto you
in my kingdom of glory so that ye be not taken by the darkness.
40
And
I Nephi did fall to the earth and begin to worship him, and then he did lift me
from the ground unto my feet and I did stand before him that we were eye to
eye.
41
And
he did say, ye are equal with me in that you have set upon the throne of the
Father and ye need not bow before me anymore.
42
And
now I give unto you a warning, for it is decreed in an unalterable form that
blasphemy against me shall not be forgiven and see that you teach this unto
your disciples.

And
the other signs and tokens were given as well and are recorded upon another set
of plates.
